The series also includes memorandums, reports, telegrams, newspaper clippings, photographs, maps, and architectural plans. Topics discussed include park administration, publicity, safety, accidents, park infrastructure, construction and improvements, concessions, permits, forestry, wildlife, budgets, historical evaluations, signs and markers, the Civilian Conservation Corps, community outreach projects, and more. Correspondents include the regional director, regional office staff, site superintendents, and senior National Park Service administrative personnel. National Park Service sites discussed in this series include but are not limited to Acadia National Park, Adams Mansion National Historical Park, Antietam National Battlefield, Castle Clinton National Monument, Federal Hall National Memorial, Fort McHenry National Memorial, Fort Necessity National Battlefield, Gettysburg National Military Park, Grand Portage National Monument, Home of Franklin D Roosevelt National Historic Site, Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Hopewell Village National Historic Site, Independence National Historical Park, Isle Royale National Park, Morristown National Historical Park, Mound City National Cemetery, Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial, Salem Maritime National Historic Site, Saratoga National Historical Park, Statue of Liberty National Monument, and Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site. Part II of this series consists of correspondence and reports related to state cooperation with the National Park Service. This section also contains correspondence and reports related to the New England-New York Inter-Agency Committee and various reservoirs throughout National Park Service Region V. Part III of this series consists of correspondence and reports related to surplus government property within National Park Service Region V.
